About BIHER
Established in 1984 as Bharath Institute of Science and Technology, BIHER has grown into a multidisciplinary university offering programs in Engineering, Medicine, Law, Management, Arts and Sciences.
The Institute is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu across multiple campuses totaling over 250 acres. Our Selaiyur campus houses the main administrative block, engineering colleges, and research centers. The Medical College and Hospital is located in the Chromepet campus, providing state-of-the-art healthcare services while training future medical professionals.
BIHER is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A' Grade. Our programs are approved by statutory bodies like AICTE, MCI, BCI, and PCI.
